About
Lorraine Reardon began her career as an artist in book design and advertising. During her 49 years of raising 7 children, she developed her painting and portraiture skills along with many other types of artistic media. In 2020, after painting portraits of her 24 grandchildren and pets amongst the family, she began to display her artwork on Instagram. During the pandemic she also began working three dimensionally using discarded cardboard and recyclables to create beautiful chess pieces. At age 79, her art has taken many forms and her talent has touched many homes throughout the country and abroad, as Lorraine has sold and gifted her artwork to friends, fans, and loved ones. She is now expanding her talents to reach new audiences through social media, with the help of her 17 year old granddaughter Lucy Reardon who takes charge of her marketing.
